CITIZENSHIP AND MULTICULTURAL INTERESTS — PORTFOLIO CHANGE
      70. Hon LIZ BEHJAT to the Leader of the House representing the Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Interests:
That was a good response from the Minister for Environment.
I refer to the reconstitution of the state government ministerial offices on 6 April 2017.
      (1) What was the reason for the change in the minister's title from Minister for Multicultural Affairs to Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Interests?
      (2) Was any signage, letterhead, business cards or other paraphernalia ordered, created or otherwise produced to reflect the title of Minister for Multicultural Affairs?
(3) If yes to (2), what was the cost of those items?
Hon STEPHEN DAWSON replied:
I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question.
On behalf of the Leader of the House, the following information has been provided to me by the Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Interests.
      (1) The portfolio title was changed to align with the title of the Office of Multicultural Interests and to avoid any costs and financial implications involved in changing the departmental name.
      (2) Only business cards for the minister and the chief of staff were created using the portfolio title of citizenship and multicultural affairs.
      (3) The total cost was $265.
