DEPARTMENT OF PRIMARY INDUSTRIES AND REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT — REDUNDANCIES
      771. Hon COLIN HOLT to the Minister for Regional Development:
I refer to the government's cuts to 3 000 public sector jobs.
      (1) How many staff have been made redundant in the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development to date?
      (2) Where were those staff located?
(3) What is the cost of redundancies so far?
Hon ALANNAH MacTIERNAN replied:
      I thank the member for some notice of the question.
      (1) To date, no staff employed by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development have been made redundant under the government's voluntary targeted separation scheme.
(2)–(3) Not applicable.
