Question

I refer to Regional Youth Justice Services (RYJS), and I ask:
(a) how many RYJS offices are currently operating;
(b) where are each of these offices located;
(c) how many FTE are funded at each office; and
(d) for each office, how many FTE are currently unfilled?

Answered on 14 May 2019

(a) 5 main reporting offices and 8 sub offices.

(b)West Kimberley Regional Youth Justice Services has a main reporting centre in Broome and sub offices in Fitzroy Crossing and Derby, East Kimberley Regional Youth Justice Services has a main reporting centre in Kununurra and a sub office in Halls Creek, Pilbara Regional Youth Justice Services has a main reporting centre in Karratha and sub offices in South Hedland, Roebourne and Newman, Mid-West Gascoyne Regional Youth Justice Services has a main reporting centre in Geraldton and sub offices in Meekatharra and Carnarvon and Goldfields Regional Youth Justice Services has a main reporting centre in Kalgoorlie.

(c) & (d) West Kimberley Regional Youth Justice Services: 18 FTE with 3 vacancies.

East Kimberley Regional Youth Justice Services: 19 FTE with 6 vacancies with 5 active recruitment processes.

Pilbara Regional Youth Justice Services: 22 FTE with 3 vacancies with 1 active recruitment process.

Goldfields Regional Youth Justice Services: 19 FTE with 5 vacancies with 4 active recruitment processes.

Mid-West Regional Youth Justice Services: 23 FTE with 6 vacancies with 4 active recruitment processes.
