Minister for Child Protection:
I refer to
question without notice 525 asked on 17 August 2021.
(1) For the last
six months —
(a) how many
child protection caseworkers have applied for workers' compensation;
(b) how many
caseworkers referred to in part (a) were successful with their claim; and
(c) how many
caseworkers have been subject to physical injury?
(2) What is the
total number of caseworkers who have taken leave for workers'
compensation over the past six months due to —
(a) injury; and
(b) mental health
or stress reasons?

of the question. I provide the following answer on behalf of the Minister for
Child Protection.
(1) (a) There were nine.
(b) There were five.
(c) There were 31 from 1 March to 31
August 2021.
(2) (a) There were three.
(b) There were three.
