Answered on 28 August 2018

(1) All Horizon Power General Manager roles are based in Western Australia.

(2) Not applicable

(3) Not applicable

(4) Costs incurred by all General Managers for travel to and from work is at their personal expense. Travel for business purposes is incurred by Horizon Power.

(5) Yes, Horizon Power has partnered with an east-coast based company Energy Matters to undertake a nine month pilot project offering solar products to the town of Karratha. The pilot ends in December 2018.

(6) The procurement and governance processes used to identify and select the supplier for Horizon Power Solar were in accordance with Horizon Power’s Procurement and Contract Management Framework. The procurement process gave consideration to Western Australian companies and all Karratha-based installers were given the opportunity to install the Horizon Power Solar products in Karratha.

(7) Not applicable. The procurement process for a small pilot does not yield any tender assessment reports. At the conclusion of the pilot in December 2018, Horizon Power will undertake a full evaluation process to determine if and how the product will be rolled out to the remainder of its service area. This will require an open market tender process should the decision be made to continue with the product offering.

(8) Not applicable
