Question

For each department, agency and government trading enterprise within the Minister’s portfolio of responsibilities, including the Minister himself/herself, I ask in regard to the registration of the receipt of all gifts, benefits, hospitality, accommodation and travel by officers since 11 March 2017:
(a) what was the nature of the gift, benefit, hospitality, accommodation or travel received;
(b) what was the date of receipt of each gift, benefit, hospitality, accommodation or travel;
(c) what is the name of the individual, organisation or private company that offered the gift, benefit, hospitality, accommodation or travel;
(d) what is the estimated individual value of gift, benefit, hospitality, accommodation or travel; and
(e) does the organisation have any commercial or financial relationship with the individual, organisation or private company that offered the gift, benefit, hospitality, accommodation or travel and, if so, what is the nature of that commercial or financial relationship?

The Road Safety Commission advise the following:

The Road Safety Commission (RSC) was invited to attend opening of the caravan and camping show on 22 March 2017 as the RSC was an exhibitor. A caravan and camping show ticket to the opening event was provided to the RSC, to the value of $20.00, courtesy of the Caravan and Camping Show event organisers. On 27 March 2017 the Italian Consulate of WA presented movie tickets to the RSC to the value of $30.00 in acknowledgement of agency’s past and continuing interest and involvement in international human rights matters. On 4 April 2017, 303 Mullenlowe provided two Oasis Ball tickets valued at $150 each to the RSC, as the RSC had been nominated for ‘Client of the Year’ award at this event. The RSC was invited to attend a Western Force match as a Rugby WA partner, on 22 April 2017, with a ticket valued at $32.00. Caret Media, on 16 May 2017, provided an airfare to Sydney valued at $1034.00, for the RSC to sit on a panel of judges for the Carat Scholarship 2017 in which the RSC was used as the client for participants to present on a road safety distractions campaign. The RSC was invited to attend a lunch as a sponsor of the Constable Care Safety School, valued at $100.00, on 31 May 2017. Clubs WA provided a ball ticket to the RSC as part of the road safety partnership program, on 17 June 2017. Clubs WA also invited the RSC to a Christmas events on 6 December 2017, worth $38.00, as part of the road safety partnership program. On September 11 2017 the Communications Council of WA provided an event ticket worth $220.00, where an RSC representative viewed media effectiveness presentations from international researchers. The RSC was invited by the RAC as a road safety stakeholder on 23 October 2017 to the Recording Artists and Actors Against Drink Driving breakfast event, with a ticket worth $35.00. The RSC invited to attend opening of the Caravan and Camping show event on 21 March 2018 as the RSC was an exhibitor, with a ticket to the value of $10.00, courtesy of the Caravan and Camping Show event organisers. The RSC was invited to attend as a sponsor of the Constable Care Safety School, valued at $10.00, on 26 March 2018. On 5 April 2018 the RSC was invited as a road safety stakeholder to the event opening of RAC B Street Smart, with no known ticket value.
