Question

I refer to the Cleanaway Landfill site on Banksia Road in the Shire of Dardanup, and I ask:
(a) has the Cleanaway Dardanup Landfill site made any payments under the Waste Levy in the past five years;
(b) if yes to (a), how much in each year;
(c) has the site received waste from the metropolitan region in the last five years and, if so, how much in each year;
(d) has the site received waste from Kalgoorlie in the last five years and, if so, how much in each year; and
(e) has the site received waste from the Pilbara in the last five years and, if so, how much in each year?

(a) Yes

 

(b) 2018-19: $12,509,067.32

2017-18: $8,470,214.42

2016-17: $6,700,139.57

2015-16: $5,177,617.17 (as Transpacific Waste)

2014-15: $6,220,296.96 (as Transpacific Waste)

 

(c) Yes, as follows:

2018-19: 197,928.46 tonnes

2017-18: 144,440.1 tonnes

2016-17: 123,690 tonnes

2015-16: 102,324.45 tonnes (as Transpacific Waste)

2014-15: 194,289.07 tonnes (as Transpacific Waste)

 

(d) Records of solid waste received by the site from Kalgoorlie are not required to be provided to the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation. No controlled waste was received from Kalgoorlie.

 

(e) Records of solid waste received by the site from the Pilbara are not required to be provided to the Department of Water and Environmental Regulation. Controlled waste has been received from the Pilbara as follows:

   2018-19: 50.4 tonnes of controlled waste

   2016-17: 98 tonnes of controlled waste

   2015-16: 1,221.7 tonnes of controlled waste
