STATE FLEET

680. Hon TIM CLIFFORD to the minister representing the Minister for Finance:

(1) What is the total number of cars in the state government fleet?

(2) Of the total number of cars in the state government fleet, could the minister please provide the number and model of electric vehicles in the fleet?

(3) Of the total number of cars in the state government fleet, could the minister please provide the number and model of electric-hybrid vehicles in the fleet?

Hon STEPHEN DAWSON replied:

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question.

(1) The total number of passenger and light commercial vehicles financed and leased to agencies by the Department of Finance is 8 907. In addition, there are some agency-owned vehicles and car fleets for government trading enterprises—for example, the Water Corporation—for which the department has no information.

(2) There are two Nissan Leaf hatchbacks.

(3) The total number of vehicles is 114. The remainder of the answer provides the number and model of the vehicles, but it is in a table, so I seek leave to have it incorporated into Hansard.

Leave granted.
