Parliament: 40 Session: 1
Answered on 20 March 2018

HEALTH — POSTHUMOUS COLLECTION OF GAMETES — REVIEW
77. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the parliamentary secretary to the Minister for Health:
I refer to the minister's answer to my question without notice asked and answered on 14 March 2018 about the independent review of the Human Reproductive Technology Act 1991 and the Surrogacy Act 2008, and the minister's advice to the house that the reviewer will have access to the first annual report on the notifications of posthumous collection of gametes in Western Australia for 2014 to 2016 that was provided to the minister in December 2016 and noted by the minister in January 2017.
      (1) Will the minister table that report?
(2) If yes to (1), when?
(3) If no to (1), why not?
      (4) Has a second annual report been provided to the minister?
(5) If yes to (4), when was it provided and when will it be tabled?
(6) If no to (4), when is it expected to be provided?
Hon ALANNA CLOHESY replied:
