Minister for Local Government:
I
refer to recent matters raised in the media, including in The Australian
of 13 December 2021, concerning Port Hedland's mayor, Mr Peter
Carter.
(1) When did the
Corruption and Crime Commission refer matters to the Department of Local
Government, Sport and Cultural Industries?
(2) When will a report
from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries be finalised
to the minister?
(3) What other
actions will the minister take while waiting for the report from the Department
of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries?
