representing the Premier:
I refer to the Premier's
recent visit to Japan and South Korea, where he met with representatives from
Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsui and Co, Tokyo Gas and Inpex.
(1) Did the Premier
discuss the recent lifting of the moratorium on fracking in Western Australia
with anyone on his trip?
(2) If yes to (1), with whom did he
discuss fracking and what was the discussion about?
(3) Did the
Premier discuss any existing or possible pipelines, particularly in the
Kimberley, with anyone?
(4) If yes to (3), with whom did the Premier discuss
existing or possible pipelines, particularly in the Kimberley?
(5) Did the Premier discuss any
possible gas production facilities in the Kimberley?
(6) If yes to (5), with whom did the
Premier discuss possible gas production facilities?
(7) Will the Premier release the
briefing notes for the trip; and, if not, why not?

(2) The Premier
had discussions with Mr Takehiko Kakiuchi, Mr Kanji Nishiura, Mr Jun Nishizawa,
Mr Masaro Saito, Mr Hiromasa Yamamoto and Mr Masayuki Moroi. I am so sorry! The
recent lifting of the moratorium on fracking in Western Australia was
discussed.
