I refer to the Advocate for
Children in Care. What is the total amount of funding that has been allocated
to the Advocate for Children in Care in the 2021–22 financial year?

I thank the member for some notice
of the question and provide the following answer on behalf of the Minister for
Child Protection.
For the 2021–22 financial
year, a total of $140 887 has been allocated for salary and on-costs for one
FTE. Any additional costs will be met within the Department of Communities'
overall approved budget.
