DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME — 2006–09 TRIAL
348. Hon WILSON TUCKER to the minister representing the
Minister for Health:
I
refer the minister to data collected by the Department of Health on the level
of physical activity, health and wellbeing of the population over the
period of 2006 to 2009, when Western Australia trialled Daylight Saving Time.
(1) Can the
minister outline the results of the Department of Health's evaluation
of the effect of daylight saving on physical activity?
(2) Will the minister table any Department of Health
publications on the effects of WA's daylight saving trial?

I
thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. It is not possible
to provide the requested information in
the time required and I therefore ask the honourable member to place this
question on notice. Given he is looking for information from 13 or 14 years
ago, it might take some time, so if he puts it on notice, we will get him an
answer.
