Answered on 28 November 2017

(1) The Regional Forest Agreement for the South-West Forest Region of Western Australia (WA RFA) does not require biodiversity audits. However, in accordance with clause 36 of the WA RFA a first and second five-year (1999 to 2009) performance report was released in 2013 and the third five-year (2009 to 2014) was released in 2016.

(2) Not applicable

(3) The performance reports were released in 2013 and 2016.

(4) (a)-(b) Attachment 8 of the WA RFA lists the protection status of flora and fauna at the time the of signing in 1999. The first and second five-year and third five-year performance reports provide information on the status of species that are specially protected, rare of otherwise in need of special protection as at 2009 and 2014, including changes in protection status and recovery plans status (Appendix 5 of each performance report).

(5) [See Tabled Paper No. #].

(6) Yes

(7) This is ongoing through the preparation of area management plans, recovery plans and interim recovery plans.

(8) Not applicable
