TONKIN HIGHWAY–HALE
ROAD INTERSECTION
688. Hon DONNA FARAGHER to the minister representing the
Minister for Planning:
I refer to the proposal submitted to
the Environmental Protection Authority by the Commissioner of Main Roads Western
Australia for the Tonkin Highway grade-separated interchanges at Hale Road and
Welshpool Road, which was subsequently put on hold at the request of Main Roads
WA.

proposed Hale Road and Tonkin Highway interchange with the EPA for
assessment?
(2) If yes to (1) —
(a) when was the new design submitted;
(b) will the
minister table a copy of the new design and any other information submitted as
part of the new proposal; and
(c) when is the
public comment period expected to commence?
(3) If no to (1),
has Main Roads WA advised the EPA of the likely timing for the new design and
proposal to be submitted for assessment; and, if yes, will the minister provide
more detail?
