775. Hon COLIN de GRUSSA to the Minister for Agriculture and Food:
In relation to the animal welfare review stakeholder deliberation, will the minister please table —
(a) the list of invited stakeholders, including details on when those invitations were sent;
(b) the list of guests who have RSVP'd yes to the forum;
(c) the list of invited guest speakers, including details on when those invitations were sent; and
(d) the list of speakers presenting at the forum and the topics of their presentations?
Hon ALANNAH MacTIERNAN replied:
(a)–(b) Yes, I will table a list of the organisations to which we issued an invitation.

(c) Discussions with the panellists have been underway for some months and the list is still being finalised.
(d) Panellists will discuss, with respect to the focus areas of animal welfare education, standard setting, and compliance and prosecution, one or more of the following topics: the panellists' views on the roles and responsibilities of various organisations; an overview of current legislation, including scope, objectives and how it operates; and comparisons with examples from other Australian states and OECD countries.
