I refer to the Regional Development Commissions established under the Regional Development Commissions Act 1993 (the Act), and I ask:
(a) I refer to section 27 of the Act, and I ask who is the Director of each Regional Development Commission;
(b) what is their employment tenure and length of contract;
(c) what is their remuneration;
(d) what staff and resources are allocated to each Director of each Regional Development Commission;
(e) has the Minister or Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development sought reclassification of any Director position, if so, which and on what grounds; and
(f) do all Directors live and work within the region they are appointed?

(f) No. The majority of Directors live and work within the region they are appointed.
The South West CEO resides most of the time in Bunbury, however as she is engaged on a shorter term contract, also has personal commitments in Perth that requires her to return most weekends to Perth.
The Goldfields Esperance CEO was recruited for a short term contract of four months and whilst he spent the majority of his time in the region, has a residence and personal commitments in Perth.
