930. Hon KEN BASTON to the minister representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the Economics and Industry Standing Committee report tabled in the Legislative Assembly on 30 November 2017, ''Perceptions and Realities of Regional Airfare Prices in Western Australia''.
(1) Will the Minister for Transport commit to implementing recommendation 7 that the Minister for Transport direct the Department of Transport to undertake a discrete, detailed economic analysis and community consultation to determine whether any additional regular public transport routes in WA should be subject to regulation, with priority placed on the Perth–Kununurra service?
(2) If yes to (1), when is it expected that this analysis will commence and when will it be finalised?
(3) If no to (1), why not?

(1)–(3) The minister will carefully consider all the findings and recommendations relevant to her portfolio, and she will respond to those in the coming months.
