Question
I refer to the need for a CT scanner for the State’s morgue to assist the State Coroner and reduce the need for invasive and time-consuming autopsies, and I ask:
(a) has the Government committed to making money available to fund the purchase of a CT scanner;
(b) if yes to (a), when will this money become available; and
(c) if no to (a), why not?

(b) Not applicable.
(c) A joint business case between the Department of Justice and the Department of Health (PathWest) is currently being prepared for the consideration of Government.
