DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION — CRITICAL INCIDENT REPORTS
      136. Hon CHARLES SMITH to the Minister for Education and Training:
Can the minister advise how many critical incident reports were submitted to the Department of Education in each of the following years and, in each case, how many were referred to the police: 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017?

The Department of Education has focussed on encouraging the reporting of incidents. The increased level of reporting does not necessarily mean there has been an increase in the number of actual incidents.
