POLICE — COMPUTER-AIDED DISPATCH JOBS
991. Hon CHARLES SMITH to the minister representing the
Minister for Police:
(1) How many
computer-aided dispatch jobs were written off in the last 30 days without
police physically attending the scene?
(2) How many
jobs received at police communications in the last 30 days were recorded at the
time of the complaint as having ''no car to attend''?
Hon STEPHEN DAWSON
replied:
I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question. The following information has been provided to me by the Minister for
Police. The Western Australia Police Force advises the following.
(1) For the
month of September 2018, a total of 65 965 CAD tasks were created, with 14 828,
or 22 per cent, resolved prior to police attendance.
(2) The Western
Australia Police Force is unable to provide a response as the CAD system does
not record the details required in this question.
