BALDIVIS POLICE STATION — CONSTRUCTION
919. Hon PETER COLLIER to the minister representing the
Minister for Police:
I
refer the minister to his comment ''I am pleased to advise that the
project is underway and construction is anticipated to commence in 2023'' in his response to
question without notice 769 in relation to the new police station in Baldivis,
asked on Wednesday, 31 August 2022.
(1) Has any land been secured for
the project?
(2) Has a construction tender been
awarded for the project?
(3) When is the project expected to
be completed?

I thank the honourable member for
the question. The Western Australia Police Force advises —
(1) The Western Australia Police
Force is currently engaged in negotiations over suitable land.
(2) The tender process will
progress once the site has been finalised.
(3) An indicative schedule anticipates
practical completion in 2024–25.
