Answered on 11 October 2022

(a) For 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023, the total Commonwealth and State funding allocations managed by the Department of Justice and distributed to the Legal Assistance sector is approximately $128M.  The Commonwealth also provides additional funding directly to legal assistance providers which is not managed by the Department of Justice.
