Question

I refer to the photos found here: https://robinchapple.com/stray-cattle-great-northern-highway of a dead cow, a damaged vehicle and nearby alive cattle taken at the coordinates 17°39'26.0"S 123°42'56.0"E, taken on 15 October 2018, and I ask:
(a) are the police aware of the incident;
(b) did police officers attend the incident;
(c) were any injuries sustained to people in the damaged vehicle as a result of the incident;
(d) to whom does the dead cow belong;
(e) will the Minister provide details on the cost of the damage to the vehicle:
(i) if no to (e), why not; and
(f) does the Minister agree that the regular occurrence of incidents similar to this are of concern to motorists and local residents of West Kimberley?

(a)-(b) This information is not known to Main Roads.

(c) Main Roads is not aware of injuries sustained to people in the damaged vehicle.

(d) Unknown. There were no ear tags, ear markings or brand on the Bullock.

(e) Main Roads has not received any information as a result of this incident, nor any indication of the cost of damage.

(f) Main Roads, through the Pastoral Animal Hazard Advisory Group working to assess the current situation and implement any necessary measures.
