PANEL INQUIRY INTOHYDRAULIC FRACTURE STIMULATION IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA —
REPORT
1274. Hon COLIN TINCKNELL to the minister representing the
Minister for Mines and Petroleum:
I refer to the inquiry on fracking
and note that the report's 44 recommendations require action from many
agencies. I also note that the previous report on fracking in 2015 contained 12
recommendations, of which only five were completed. Is there an overarching
entity responsible for coordinating the implementation of this inquiry's
recommendations?
Hon
ALANNAH MacTIERNAN replied:
I thank the member for the question.
The following information has been provided to me by the Minister for Mines and
Petroleum.
The Minister for Mines and Petroleum
and the Minister for Environment have overall responsibility for the
implementation of the recommendations.
