Question

(1) What is the total area of clearing for bauxite mining on lands managed by the Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions within the Northern Jarrah Forest?
(2) Will the Minister please provide a breakdown of the information provided in answer to (1) to show:
(a) by decade, how much land was cleared;
(b) by decade, each vegetation type that was cleared and the area cleared for each vegetation type;
(c) for each year of the last 10 years, how much land was cleared; and
(d) for each year of the last 10 years, each vegetation type that was cleared and the area cleared for each vegetation type?

(1)                        The total area of clearing for bauxite mining on lands managed by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions within the Northern Jarrah Forest is
32,130 hectares.
