The Western Australia Police Force are funded for an approved strength of 6 395 FTE. The Commissioner of Police makes decisions about deployment including the number of police officers deployed in each Police District. There are 169 recruits in eight schools in the Academy with more recruit schools to commence before the end of the year. As these recruits graduate, the Commissioner will deploy them throughout Western Australia.
The Western Australian Police Force advise:
(a) As of 27 August 2019, for each regional district, the authorised strength is as follows:
Kimberley 211.0
