BUILDING BONUS GRANTS —
CONDITIONS
1184. Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE to the minister representing the
Minister for Finance:
I refer to the state government's
building bonus grants and its administration of the federal government's
HomeBuilder grant.
(1) How many applications to date
have been made for each grant?
(2) How many applications to date
have been approved or declined for each grant?
(3) Is the minister aware that application can only be
made for a new-build home once a building contract has been signed and
foundations laid?
(4) Will the state government review this arrangement
to allow for pre-approval to give home builders funding certainty prior
to signing building contracts and securing bank finance?
