I refer to Geraldton Health Campus.
(1) How many code black activations
have occurred from 1 September 2019 to date?
(2) Please detail
how the $100 000 in capital funding allocated to improve hospital security will
be expended.
(3) Please detail
how the $382 500 in recurrent funding to improve hospital security will be
expended.
(4) Since the minister's announcements in August
and October 2019 of the combined $11.23 million in funding to ''stop hospital violence and aggression'',
how many additional security FTE have been deployed to the hospital?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) There were 51 code black
activations from 1 September 2019 to 29 February 2020.
(2) The $100 000
in capital funding allocated to improve hospital security will be expended to
upgrade the duress system to the community health building.
(3) The $382 500
in recurrent funding to improve hospital security will be expended to uplift
the hospital onsite security presence.
(4) An additional
1.0 FTE of security has been deployed as at 11 March 2020, with a further 2.0
FTE currently being trained to start as soon as possible.
