Further to question without notice

November 2018, I again refer to the Department of Local Government–authorised
inquiry into the City of Melville.
(1) What stage
has the inquiry reached, and what stages of the process remain to be completed?
(2) What time
frame has the minister set for finalising the necessary processes for tabling
the report and for giving a government response?
(3) If a time
frame has not been set, why not?
I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.

inquiry into the City of Melville has been completed and provided to the city
for comment and feedback. Relevant sections of the draft report have been
provided to other parties to the inquiry, who have also provided feedback and

2019. The department is currently considering this feedback and any amendments
necessary to the draft report. Once the report is finalised, it will be
provided to the minister.
