PUBLIC SECTOR COMMISSION — FORMER DIRECTOR GENERAL OF THEDEPARTMENT OF RACING, GAMING AND LIQUOR — SECONDMENT
      735. Hon PETER COLLIER to the Leader of the House representing the Premier:
I refer to the secondment of the former director general of the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor to the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.
      (1) What is the job title and description of the former director general of the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor?
      (2) What is the current remuneration of the former director general of the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor?
      (3) What is the length of the contract of the former director general of the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor?
Hon SUE ELLERY replied:
I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. The Public Sector Commission advises —
      (1) On 1 July 2017, the former director general of the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor was transferred to the performance of other functions in the senior executive service and administratively placed at the Public Sector Commission. He was subsequently seconded to the Department of the Premier and Cabinet to assist with legislative reform.
      (2) The former director general of the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor retains his remuneration of $354 839.
      (3) The contract length of the former director general of the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor is from 10 March 2013 to 9 March 2018.
