LIVING INDEPENDENTLY FOR THE FIRST TIME PILOT PROGRAM

1516. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the Leader of the House representing the Minister for Child Protection:

I refer to the Living Independently for the First Time pilot program, which sought to provide intensive support for 12 young people.

(1) When did the pilot commence?

(2) What have been the findings of the pilot to date?

(3) Has an evaluation been undertaken of the pilot?

(4) If no to (3), why not?

(5) If yes to (3), will the minister table the evaluation?

Hon SUE ELLERY replied:

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question.

(1) The pilot program commenced in 2015.

(2) An evaluation of the pilot program was commissioned by Indigo Junction and completed by Clare Consultancy.

(3) Yes.

(4) Not applicable.

(5) No, as the evaluation is the intellectual property of Indigo Junction.
