FIONA STANLEY HOSPITAL — MEDIHOTEL

117. Hon PETER COLLIER to the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Health:

I refer to my question without notice 92, answered on Wednesday, 19 February 2020.

(1) Under the contract with either Aegis or Fini, what are the annual costs to the state, together with any other financial obligations?

(2) Are there minimum payments under the contract regardless of the services delivered; and, if so, what are the minimum payment obligations to the state under the contract?

(3) What are the services that will be delivered under the contract?

(4) Will the minister table the contract; and, if not, why not?

Hon ALANNA CLOHESY replied:

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question.

(1) There is no contract with Aegis or Fini for the provision of the medihotel at the Murdoch health and knowledge precinct. Any future partnership arrangements in relation to the provision of medihotel services will be subject to a business case.

(2)–(4) Not applicable.
