Question
I refer to the consultation liaison services at Bunbury Hospital, and I ask:
(a) how much dedicated psychiatric nurse FTE was allocated to the consultation liaison service, as at 1 July 2018;
(b) how much dedicated psychiatrist FTE was allocated to the consultation liaison service, as at 1 July 2018; and
(c) how much dedicated registrar FTE was allocated to the consultation liaison service, as at 1 July 2018?
Answered on 17 October 2018
a) 3.42 FTE.
b) 0 FTE*.
*There is no dedicated Psychiatrist allocated to the consultation liaison service.
A Psychiatrist funded by the Mental Health Service is available on call overnight.
c) 0 FTE** Registrar.
1.0 FTE Senior Medical Practitioner.
**The Registrar is allocated to the Acute Psychiatric Unit.
