I refer to the minister's response to question without notice 995, which was asked on 19 October 2022.

(1) For each of the schools identified in the minister's response, please provide a list of the specific preliminary planning, feasibility studies, master plans or business cases undertaken by each of the schools.

(2) I refer to the preliminary planning, feasibility studies, master plans or business cases undertaken by the schools.

(a) Were additional funds provided by the government to assist the schools to carry out this work? If so, please specify.

(b) Did the schools receive funding from sources other than government to carry out this work? If yes, please specify.

Hon SUE ELLERY replied:

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. I am sorry. I was out of the house on urgent parliamentary business.

(1) The schools were Albany Senior High School, a pre-feasibility study for a school music centre; Ballajura Community College, a proposed performing arts concept planning feasibility study; John Curtin College of the Arts, a master plan report; Sevenoaks Senior College, a justification for upgrade; and Woodvale Secondary College, a college auditorium project case.

(2) (a)–(b) The Department of Education does not have any records of a financial contribution from the state government that is directly related to these studies, reports or plans.
