747. Hon COLIN HOLT to the Minister for Regional Development:
I refer to the government's decision to close down the Westlink TV network.
(1) What is the cost of delivering the Westlink service a year?
(2) How many households, community resource centres and other institutions use Westlink on an annual basis?
(3) What are the government's anticipated savings from shutting down the service?

I thank the member for the question.
(1) In recent years the average annual cost to deliver the Westlink service has been $658 000.
(2) Data on usage is not available.
(3) The savings are $658 000 per year.
