Question
I refer to the operation of the Department of Premier and Cabinet ministerial aircraft, and I ask:
(a) on how many occasions has a flight occurred since 11 March 2017 where a Minister has not been on the flight;
(b) with reference to (a), who were the passengers on the flight including their relevant positions and the departure and arrival destinations; and
(c) who authorised each flight to occur without a Minister present?

(a) There has been two flights since 11 March 2017 where a Minister has not been on the flight.

(c) On both occasions the aircraft was required to return to its Perth Airport base. The decision to allow these ministerial staff members to travel on the aircraft without the Minister
was made by the Department at an operational level.
