FUTURE HEALTH RESEARCH AND INNOVATION FUND
      435. Hon TIM CLIFFORD to the minister representing the Minister for Innovation and ICT:
I refer to the government's election promise to introduce a future health research and innovation fund.
(1) What is the amount of money allocated to this fund?
(2) What organisation or agency will administer this fund?
      (3) Has the government developed plans to deliver an innovation hub at Royal Perth Hospital; and, if not, why not?

I thank the member for the question.
The following information has been provided to me by the Minister for Health.
(1) The future health research and innovation fund has not yet been established.
(2) This is yet to be determined.
      (3) High‑level implementation plans are currently being developed to facilitate delivery of an innovation hub at Royal Perth Hospital under the oversight of a health service–wide committee with clearly defined terms of reference, allocated actions and minutes to document progress.
