I refer to the review team working on the drafting of
amendments to the Aboriginal Heritage Act.
(1) When was
the review team established and who were the members of the review team at the
time of establishment?
(2) Who are the current members of the review team?
(3) How many members of the review team have resigned from
the review team since its inception?
(4) Who were the people who resigned from the review team?
(5) What were the reasons provided for resignation by those
people listed in (4)?

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question. The following answer has been provided to me by the Minister for
Aboriginal Affairs.

These are internal administrative matters for the Department of Planning, Lands
and Heritage in how it allocates resources
to achieve the government's commitments to review the Aboriginal
Heritage Act. This review has been ongoing since 2017, involving various
public servants at different stages of the process.
