Answered on
INFRASTRUCTURE — SOUTH WEST
532.
Hon SIMON O'BRIEN
to the Minister for Regional Development:
I refer to the McGowan Labor government's ''Plan for Collie–Preston'', and the Premier's media statement on Friday, 1 September, which stated —
''In the South‑West alone, the McGowan Government will spend $636 million on critical infrastructure over the next four years.
Of the $636 million, how much of this funding will go towards critical infrastructure in the electorates of Collie–Preston, Vasse, Bunbury and Warren–Blackwood?
Hon ALANNAH MacTIERNAN
replied:
I thank the member for the question. I apologise, because I think these questions came from another member earlier and they have obviously distanced themselves from them.
Unfortunately, the departmental systems are not configured to report by electorate and there are a number of budget line items that will traverse multiple locations, so I am unable to provide an accurate breakdown on a seat‑by‑seat basis. However, I can assure the member that there is a great spread of investment across all five electorates in the south west and these will be detailed in tomorrow's budget.
