DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH — GRACE VAUGHAN HOUSE — RELOCATION
      389. Hon NICK GOIRAN to the parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Health:
I refer to Grace Vaughan House located in Shenton Park.
(1) How many employees of the Department of Health work at this location?
      (2) How many employees at this location deliver environmental health and communicable disease control for the public health division of the Department of Health?
      (3) Further to parts (1) and (2), how many employees are being moved from this location to Royal Street, East Perth?
      (4) Further to part (3), what is the estimated cost of the relocation?
      (5) Further to part (3), what are the reasons for the relocation?
Hon ALANNA CLOHESY replied:
I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question. I am advised by the Department of Health of the following.
(1) There are 136 employees.
      (2) There are 95 employees in the environmental health directorate and 41 employees in the communicable disease control directorate.
(3) It is all 136 employees.
(4) Costings for the relocation are yet to be undertaken.
(5) To co‑locate the public health division to one location at the Department of Health headquarters.
