FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ACT OBLIGATIONS
831. Hon MARTIN ALDRIDGE to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
I refer to legal obligations arising
from the Financial Management Act 2006 and specifically sections 81 and 82.
(1) What formal
training or instruction has been provided to ministers and ministerial staff
with respect to their legal obligations?
(2) If no formal
training or instruction has been provided to ministers and staff, when will
this be provided?

some notice of the question.
(1)–(2) Following
on from recommendation 1 of the sixty-second report of the Legislative Council
Standing Committee on Estimates and
Financial Operations, tabled in the house in May 2016, the State Solicitor's
Office updated its guidelines to ministers on deciding whether to
provide information requested by Parliament.
