(2) How much was actually spent for each of the years in (1)?

(3) For each of the years in (1), what was the breakdown of funding between local government, not-for-profit sport, recreation and community organisations?

Hon SUE ELLERY replied:

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the question.

(1) The amounts approved in each year for allocation over a triennium were: 2015–16, $20 million; 2016–17, $7 million; 2017–18, $12 million; 2018–19, $12 million; 2019–20, $12 million; and 2020–21, $12 million.

(2) The amount spent per year, inclusive of administration, includes funds approved in previous years given the triennial nature of the CSRFF, and are as follows: 2015–16, $20 121 070; 2016–17, $18 182 925; 2017–18, $11 651 465; 2018–19, $13 709 561; 2019–20, $12 506 232; and 2020–21, from 1 July to 20 August 2020, $516 082.
