I refer to the Premier's

United Kingdom, Ireland and Qatar.
(1) How many
individuals accompanied the Premier on the trip, breaking the number down into
ministerial and departmental staff?

and accommodation in which he and his ministerial staff stayed?
(3) What was the total cost of this
trip in relation to —
(a) the Premier's expenses;
(b) all ministerial staff expenses;
(c) all departmental staff expenses;
and
(d) total expenses?
(4) In reference
to the expenses in (3), how much was paid for by Qantas and how much has been
billed directly to taxpayers?
Hon
STEPHEN DAWSON replied:
I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following answer has been provided on behalf
of the Leader of the House representing the Premier.
(1)–(4) The
Department of the Premier and Cabinet tables a report on overseas travel
undertaken by ministers, parliamentary secretaries and government officers each
quarter. The report includes the information requested.
The report for the period including the Premier's mission to promote Western
Australia will be tabled in Parliament in due course.
