Answered on 12 September 2017

I am advised that:

St John of God Bunbury Hospital is a privately run hospital. The WA Country Health Service is unable to provide any information on staffing arrangements for consultation liaison services at St John of God Bunbury Hospital.

In regards to consultation liaison services at Bunbury Hospital:

(a) The dedicated psychiatric nurse FTE allocated was:

(a)(i) 3.21 FTE as at 1 July 2016.

(a)(ii) 3.21 FTE as at 1 July 2017.

(b)(i-ii) There is no dedicated psychiatrist allocated to the consultation liaison service. A psychiatrist funded by Mental Health Service is available on call overnight.

(c) The registrar is allocated to the Acute Psychiatric Unit. The dedicated senior medical practitioner FTE allocated was:

(c)(i) 1.0 FTE as at 1 July 2016.

(c)(ii) 1.0 FTE as at 1 July 2017.
