Training:
What a good electorate the East
Metropolitan Region is!
I refer to the answer given to
question without notice 246 regarding community kindergartens.
(1) Can the
minister confirm that the funding allocated to each community kindergarten
encompasses both operational funding and staffing costs; and, if not, what does
it encompass?
(2) If yes to (1), will the minister provide a further
breakdown of the funding allocated to each community kindergarten for 2015,
2016, 2017 and 2018 in operational funding, staffing costs and any other costs?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1) Yes. It also
includes administration costs provided to the linked school. Administrative
support allocated to the linked school is for professional learning and
performance management of community kindergarten staff, management of staff
relief requirements, administrative support for enrolments and general
assistance as required.
(2) The answer is provided in
tabular form and I seek leave to have it incorporated into Hansard.
