I have a supplementary question.
The minister said yesterday he was re-evaluating the future scenario. Can the
Treasurer give absolute assurance to the racing industry that there will be a solid
future income stream?
Mr M.
McGOWAN replied:
The
racing industry will, of course, be part of the process. It asked us to do
this. It made the request to the government of Western Australia to do
this, so obviously we will work with it on what the final outcome is.
