TOURISM OPERATORS —
PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE
450. Mr
V.A. CATANIA to the Attorney General:
I have a supplementary question.
Apart from now, has the Minister for Tourism, who continues to provide the
Attorney General with advice —
The SPEAKER: No preamble—get
to the question, please.
Mr V.A. CATANIA: Has the
Minister for Tourism been proactive in raising this issue with the Attorney General
and what the Attorney General is going to do about it, apart from right now?
Mr J.R.
QUIGLEY replied:
The Small Business Commissioner —
The SPEAKER: Attorney General,
can you speak up, please? Hansard will not be able to hear you.
Mr J.R. QUIGLEY: Certainly.
The Small Business Commissioner of Western Australia has asked Ms Carnell to
look into it.
An opposition member interjected.
Mr J.R. QUIGLEY: I have to
ask Ms Carnell. It is the Western Australian Small Business Commissioner who
has asked Ms Carnell to look into it. It is a nationwide problem; we will get
an answer for it. We are worried about that sector of the economy.
