422. Dr D.J. HONEY to the Minister for Health:
I refer to the minister's
announcement on 25 May, committing to 20 additional beds and 10 additional
FTEs, plus a dedicated resuscitation team
for the emergency department of Perth Children's Hospital. Were these
commitments fully implemented prior to this weekend's code
yellow; and, if not, why not?

I
thank the member for the question. I know that most of that program is being
implemented, or is in the process of being
implemented, with teams of clinical leadership in the emergency department
working with the hospital leadership.
