the advice relating to the recommendations in relation to the Mercure hotel?

required, just the Minister for Health.

COOK replied:
I
am trying to explain this in the most basic possible terms so that those
opposite can understand what we are trying to say. The Mercure hotel was
identified as the hotel that was least able to be mitigated in relation to the recommendations of the Weeramanthri review. As a result
of that, the Premier and I decided, in conjunction with the Chief Health
Officer, that we should vacate the Mercure hotel. It is no longer being used to
quarantine international arrivals.
